Mickey Mouse Ears are a traditional favorite souvenir for those trips to the parks. They got their start with the Mickey Mouse Club, which debuted in conjunction with the opening of Disneyland in California. So the two are inextricably tied together. For a long time the design was pretty standard and unchanging, except for a few variations from early in Disneyland’s history and based on location.
