Rod Miller Main Street Pianist DVD

Rodmillerdvd Rod Miller was the Main Street Ragtime Pianist for 36 years at Disneyland. He retired last year, but his fans still miss him. For anyone looking to recapture a bit of that magical time, a new fan created 2-DVD Set has been released that looks back in time to 1993 when Rod was at the top of his game.

This is a great trip back to yesterday! Rod was host to celebrities (he played at Elizabeth Taylor’s wedding) and fans and he treated them all excellently like the great showman he was. Even if you were a casual visitor at the piano see and hear the atmosphere of Disneyland long gone.

Those of you who know Rod know that he protects his image closely, quality and image is important to him. So it’s good to know that this DVD has Rod Miller’s approval. You can buy this DVD set at the LaughingPlace.com Store for $24.00 before discount.

Top 3 Disney Albums on Amazon

Looks like High School Musical has finally been pushed off its perch as the number one selling Disney album. Grey’s Anatomy Soundtrack Vol 1 and Vol 2 now take the top perch. In second is the Miley Cyrus as the fictional character Hannah Montana. The number three spot is the soundtrack from Pixar’s animated feature Cars.

Consider this a new feature where I list the top selling Disney items from across the web. What do you think?

Pirates of the Caribbean II - Pre-order the Soundtrack

Potciicd

I like to listen to movie soundtracks even before I see the movie. Puts me in the emotional space for the film better than any critic’s review can. Alas, the Soundtrack for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest won’t be available until July 4th, just a few days prior to the films release. But if you order it from Amazon they do promise to ship it to you as soon as they get it in stock. Failing that you can listen to a preview of the soundtrack here.

Mickey Mouse iPod Nano, but only in Japan

IpodnanoI realize that the Japanese obsession with Mickey Mouse is huge, but why does that mean we Americans have be left out of the fun. Here’s what I’m talking about a new Limited Edition Mickey Mouse iPod Nano that I would so totally buy, is on the market in Japan. There are also tons of other Disney themed iPod accessories in Japan. But in the U.S., almost nothing.

The Mickey Mouse iPod Nano Kit is available, but only if you can read this page in Japanese. Grrr. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places.
