Disney Dance Dance Revolution is back!

The Dance Dance Revolution craze began way back in 1998 with home and arcade games. The Disney version was introduced in 2000 and has always been hard to get (the variation from Japan even more difficult). For years I’ve been trying to get my hands on a copy without paying the exorbinant prices of an eBay auction. Now my waiting is finally over.

Buena Vista Games and Konami have released a Plug’N'Play version of the popular Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix. The Plug-n-Play capability means you plug it right into your TV and don’t have to worry about platform compatibility.

It does come with a special custom Dance floor, but it sounds like it’s single player only. Also no word what songs are on the game, is it the full complement from the original version, the Japanese mix, or some new songs? Hopefully we’ll see a full multi-player version released for various platforms soon. But that doesn’t mean you should pass this chance up if you’ve been dying to get your hands on a Disney DDR.

Plug’N'Play Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix was just released today and it’s already climbing the charts at Amazon. I think we might have the holiday sleeper gift here, so order now to make sure you have it at your house in time to the unwrapping on Christmas. At $29.99 it’s a deal too good to pass up.
